What do you do when your spiritual season has changed, when the battle is over and it's time to put your sword down? You remove your battle clothing, drop your weapons and release it.
Sometimes life gets dark and you look up and find that you’ve moved from the light into the gray. What’s the gray? It’s that space where you’re numb and life seems to have lost it’s color. This isn’t the time to give up on you, it’s the time to seek, and accept, some assistance to get you back on track.
I’m learning the lesson of honoring my No…and I had to do it the hard way. What I’m learning is that my NO is valuable, and that I must hold on to it in order to maintain my peace. There’s absolutely nothing wrong with saying No, especially when you know that saying Yes is going to push you out of your “Peace Zone”.
2019 is all about being intentional, especially with the words I choose to use to create my reality. I am so tired of the little deaths I’ve been speaking over my life that create their own realities of self-hate, disappointment, anger and unhappiness. Proverbs 18:21 says that, “death and life are in the power of the tongue, and those who love it will eat its fruit”. In order for me to create a reality that is filled with life, then I must speak it.
