I will provide the centering moment and opening prayer for the Women of Color Luncheon at Fuller Theological Seminary.
This is our oasis, a space where women of color gather for spiritual nourishment, to be seen, to be heard, to worship and to celebrate in the presence of God.
What a great honor it is to one of these sisters meeting up on this journey for such a time as this.
How are you walking into 2024? The best way is to walk with intentionality about seeking and maintaining the peace of God.

I am introducing #PeaceBreak Mondays where we meet at lunchtime on Mondays to pray and encourage one another on that day of the week that causes most of us the most angst.
COVID has changed the way our grandparents interact with the world. Many of them have spent the past nine months in isolation because they are dealing with pre-existing conditions that make them susceptible to becoming infected with the coronavirus.
We have focused on our youth, educators and parents with regard to how they are dealing with COVID. Now it is time to hear from our seniors.
We spend so much time giving our all to our families and friends, our jobs and everything else that we lose touch with ourselves. Join me on Saturday, November 28th for Cherishedflight LIVE! where I will be talking to Jaree Cottman, LCSW-C, about Mindfulness-Based Therapy.
We are career women, wives, mothers, daughters, caretakers, leaders, virtual homeschool organizers and so much more. It’s no wonder that taking on all of that “superwomen” work takes it toll on us and our mental health.
Not only are we dealing with 2020, so are our youth. In fact, many of our young people are overwhelmed with COVID, political unrest due to police brutality, and being successful in virtual school but don’t have the language to verbalize their emotions.
Join me every day at 12pm EST/11am CST for a Live #PeaceBreak. Collectively, we will breathe and pray to realign ourselves with the peace of God. Matthew 18:20 says, “For where two or three gather in my name, there am I with them.”
I'm launching a 7-Day #PeaceBreak Photo Challenge that will span the week of Monday, August 31st-Saturday, September 5th. Each day, we will post a photo that will align with the theme of the day using the hashtag #PeaceBreakPhotoChallenge.

Exactly one month from today, the Women of Worship (WOW) Ministry of Gethsemane A.M.E. Church will present the Restored, Renewed & Refreshed Women's Retreat!
Many of us are overwhelmed by grief, fear, and anxiety. God's vision is for his daughters to be restored in the spirit, renewed in purpose, and refreshed in order to walk in our purpose.
The She Thrives is a sacred space for women hosted by the amazing Tiffany Huff-Strothers to challenge themselves and one another as they gain clarity, build courage and commit to making lasting change - moving past the shame, unforgiveness and isolation - to serve + lead as God intended you to.
April marks the beginning of a new month and the 2nd Quarter of 2019. What better way to start our new beginnings than with daily reminders about connecting with the peace of God?
